Biography of Gérard Debreu

Gérard Debreu (* 4. July 1921 in Calais; † 31. December 2004 in Paris) was a french economist and mathematician. He was 83 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure and Stanford University. He received 10 awards, including Commander of the National Order of Merit, Humboldt Research Fellowship. He was buried at Crématorium-columbarium du Père-Lachaise.
