Gerhard Matern (* 7. June 1913 in Gościechowo; † 1. October 2011 in Fulda) was a deutscher katholischer Priester, Hochschullehrer und Sachbuchautor. He was 98 years old. His education included University of Wrocław, University of Freiburg and Collegium Hosianum. He worked at Bischof-Neumann-Schule and University of Marburg. His faith was Catholic Church. He was awarded the German Cross in Gold. He was buried at Friedhof Frauenberg.
