Biography of Gerhard Mercator

Gerhard Mercator (* 5. March 1512 in Rupelmonde; † 2. December 1594 in Duisburg) was a mathematiker, Geograf, Kartograf. He was 82 years old. He had at least 2 children (2 sons).
