Biography of Germaine Tillion

Germaine Tillion (* 30. May 1907 in Allègre; † 19. April 2008 in Saint-Mandé) was a french anthropologist (1907 - 2008). She was 100 years old. Her education included Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and École du Louvre. She received 8 awards, including Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1939–1945. She was buried at Panthéon.
