Gottfried von Einem (* 24. January 1918 in Bern; † 12. July 1996 in Maissau) was a österreichischer Komponist. He was 78 years old. He was married to Lotte Ingrisch. He worked at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He received 4 awards, including City of Vienna Prize for Music, honorary citizen of Vienna. He was buried at Hietzing Cemetery.
