Biography of Grigory Ratner

Grigory Ratner (* 17. January 1948 in Tbilisi; † 2. September 2020 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian journalist, TV. He was 72 years old. His education included Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography and Tbilisi State University. He worked at First Channel, USSR State Committee for Television and Radio, Soviet Central Television, All-Union State Broadcasting Company, Ostankino, Channel One Russia and Channel One Russia International Network. He was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class without swords. His cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
