Biography of Gunnar Myrdal

Gunnar Myrdal (* 6. December 1898 in Skattunge Parish; † 17. May 1987 in Danderyd) was a schwedischer Ökonom. He was 88 years old. He was married to Alva Myrdal. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Stockholm University and Norra Real. He worked at Stockholm School of Economics and Stockholm University. He received 8 awards, including Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, Peace Prize of the German Publishers' and Booksellers' Association. He was buried at Garden of Remembrance, Norra Begravningsplatsen.
