Biography of Günther Rall

Günther Rall (* 10. March 1918 in Gaggenau; † 4. October 2009 in Bad Reichenhall) was a german general and fighter pilot during World War II. He was 91 years old. His education included Karls-Gymnasium Stuttgart and NATO Defense College. His awards include German Cross in Gold, Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
