Biography of Harold G. Moore

Hal Moore (* 13. February 1922 in Bardstown; † 10. February 2017 in Auburn) was an united States Army lieutenant general. He was 94 years old. He was married to Julia Compton Moore. His education included Harvard University, George Washington University, United States Military Academy and Naval War College. He received 4 awards, including Bronze Star Medal, Legionnaire of Legion of Merit. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Fort Moore Main Post Cemetery.
