Biography of Harold Hotelling

Harold Hotelling (* 29. September 1895 in Fulda; † 26. December 1973 in Chapel Hill) was an uS-amerikanischer Statistiker. He was 78 years old. His education included Princeton University and University of Washington. He worked at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Columbia University, Stanford University, The Washington Standard and Puyallup Herald. He received 5 awards, including Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association, Fellow of the Econometric Society. He was buried at Old Chapel Hill Cemetery.
