Biography of Hawa Abdi

Hawa Abdi (* 17. May 1947 in Mogadishu; † 5. August 2020 in Mogadishu) was a somalian physician, activist. She was 73 years old. Her education included Somali National University, Bogomolets National Medical University and Mogadishu University. Her awards include Four Freedoms Award – Freedom from Want, Woman of the Year and honorary doctor of Harvard University.
