Biography of Heinrich Walter

Heinrich Walter (* 21. October 1898 in Odesa; † 15. October 1989 in Stuttgart) was a deutsch-russischer Geobotaniker und Öko-Physiologe. He was 90 years old. He was married to Erna Walter. His education included Imperial Novorossiia University, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and University of Tartu. He worked at Heidelberg University. His awards include honorary doctorate of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna and Erzherzog Rainer-Medaille.
