Biography of Heinz Rupp

Heinz Rupp (* 2. October 1919 in Bad Cannstatt; † 8. September 1994 in Basel) was a deutscher Germanist und Hochschullehrer. He was 74 years old. He studied at Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium. He worked at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and University of Basel. His awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Konrad-Duden Prize and Schillerplakette der Stadt Mannheim.
