Biography of Helen I. Safa

Helen I. Safa (* 4. December 1930 in Brooklyn; † 4. November 2013 in Gainesville) was an anthropologist, feminist scholar and academic. She was 82 years old. Her education included Columbia University and Cornell University. She worked at Rutgers University, Syracuse University and University of Florida. She was awarded the Silvert Award.
