Biography of Helius Eobanus Hessus

Helius Eobanus Hessus (* 6. January 1488 in Halgehausen; † 4. October 1540 in Marburg) was an evangelischer Humanist. He was 52 years old. His education included University of Erfurt, University of Frankfurt an der Oder and Leipzig University. He worked at University of Erfurt, Melanchthon-Gymnasium Nürnberg and University of Marburg. His faith was Lutheranism.
