Henry Duncan (* 8. October 1774 in Dumfries and Galloway; † 12. February 1846) was a british geologist, priest, and social reformer (1774-1846); founder of the world's first savings bank. He was 71 years old. His education included University of St Andrews and Dumfries Academy. He was awarded the Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
