Biography of Henry Louis Rietz

Henry Louis Rietz (* 24. August 1875 in Gilmore; † 7. December 1943 in Iowa City) was an american mathematician, actuarial scientist, and statistician.. He was 68 years old. His education included Ohio State University and Cornell University. He worked at University of Iowa, Butler University and University of Illinois system. His awards include Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and Fellow of the American Statistical Association. He was buried at West Union Cemetery.
