Biography of Herbert A. Hauptman

Herbert A. Hauptman (* 14. February 1917 in New York City; † 23. October 2011 in Buffalo) was an american mathematician. He was 94 years old. His education included University at Buffalo, Columbia University, City College of New York, University of Maryland, New York University and Johns Hopkins University. His faith was atheism. He received 8 awards, including Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Dirac Medal for the Advancement of Physics.
