Biography of Herbert Grötzsch

Herbert Grötzsch (* 21. May 1902 in Döbeln; † 15. May 1993 in Halle (Saale)) was a deutscher Mathematiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 90 years old. He studied at Leipzig University. He worked at University of Marburg and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. His awards include National Prize of East Germany and Pestalozzi Medal for Faithful Services in Bronze.
