Biography of Herbert York

Herbert York (* 24. November 1921 in Rochester; † 19. May 2009 in San Diego) was an uS-amerikanischer Physiker. He was 87 years old. His education included University of Rochester and University of California, Berkeley. He worked at University of California, Berkeley and University of California, San Diego. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Leo Szilard Lectureship Award. His cause of death was leukemia.
