Herman J. Mankiewicz (* 7. November 1897 in New York City; † 5. March 1953 in Hollywood) was a deutsch-amerikanischer Drehbuchautor. He was 55 years old. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). He studied at Columbia University. He was awarded the Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay. His cause of death was kidney failure.
