Hilary Koprowski (* 5. December 1916 in Warsaw; † 11. April 2013 in Philadelphia) was a polish physician, virologist, immunologist and medical researcher. He was 96 years old. He was married to Irena Koprowska. His education included Wydział Lekarski Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, Chopin University of Music and Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He received 10 awards, including Legion of Honour, Fulbright Scholarship. His cause of death was pneumonia.
