Biography of Hubert Jedin

Hubert Jedin (* 17. June 1900 in Brzeziny; † 16. July 1980 in Bonn) was a deutscher Kirchenhistoriker. He was 80 years old. His education included Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, University of Freiburg and University of Wrocław. He worked at University of Bonn and University of Wrocław. His faith was Catholicism. His awards include Ring of Honour of the Görres society, honorary doctor of the University of Vienna and Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was buried at Poppelsdorf Cemetery.
