Biography of Hugh Kenner

Hugh Kenner (* 7. January 1923 in Peterborough; † 24. November 2003 in Athens) was a kanadischer Literaturkritiker und Schriftsteller. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Toronto, Yale University, Peterborough Collegiate and St. Michael's College. He worked at Johns Hopkins University, University of Georgia and University of California, Santa Barbara. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and John Addison Porter Prize.
