Hugh Trevor-Roper (* January 15, 1914 in Glanton; † January 26, 2003 in Oxford) was a british historian. He was 89 years old. He was married to Lady Alexandra Haig. His education included Christ Church, Charterhouse School, Belhaven Hill School and Merton College. His awards include Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Fellow of the British Academy and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. His cause of death was esophageal cancer.
