Hugo Claus (* 5. April 1929 in Bruges; † 19. March 2008 in Antwerp) was a belgian author. He was 78 years old. He was married to Elly Overzier. He received 10 awards, including Constantijn Huygens Prize, Libris Literature Prize. His cause of death was euthanasia.
