Biography of Iain Sutherland

Iain Sutherland (* 15. June 1925 in Edinburgh; † 1. July 1986 in London) was a britischer Diplomat und Regierungsbeamter, Botschafter in Griechenland und der Sowjetunion. He was 61 years old. He was married to Jeanne Sutherland. His education included Balliol College and Fettes College. He worked at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He was awarded the Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Highgate Cemetery.
