Biography of Iannis Xenakis

Iannis Xenakis (* 29. May 1922 in Brăila; † 4. February 2001 in Paris) was a greek-French composer, architect and engineer. He was 78 years old. He was married to Françoise Xenakis. He studied at National Technical University of Athens. His faith was atheism. He received 4 awards, including Kyoto Prize in Arts and Philosophy, honorary doctor of the University of Sydney.
