Biography of Ignaty Brod

Ignaty Brod (* 25. October 1902 in Saratov; † 16. July 1962 in Moscow) was a soviet geologist. He was 59 years old. He studied at Saint Petersburg Mining University. His awards include Stalin Prize, Order of the Badge of Honour and Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945". He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
