Biography of Igor Astapovich

Igor Astapovich (* 29. December 1907 in Vovchansk; † 2. January 1976 in Kyiv) was a soviet astronomer. He was 68 years old. He studied at Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Saint Petersburg University. He worked at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Sternberg Astronomical Institute and Odesa University. His awards include Order of the Badge of Honour, Order of the Red Banner of Labour and Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
