Igor Jewgenjewitsch Tamm (* 8. July 1895 in Vladivostok; † 12. April 1971 in Moscow) was a russischer Physiker und Nobelpreisträger. He was 75 years old. He was married to Nataliya Shuyskaya. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included University of Edinburgh, MSU Faculty of Physics and Lomonosov Moscow State University. He worked at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Lebedev Physical Institute. He received 10 awards, including Stalin Prize, Order of Lenin. His cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
