Ilja Jakowlewitsch Gurin (* 9. July 1922 in Kharkiv; † 8. September 1994 in Moscow) was a soviet film director and screenwriter. He was 72 years old. He was married to Walentina Jefimowna Beljajewa. He studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. He worked at Gorky Film Studio. He received 5 awards, including Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class, Order of the Red Star. He was buried at Kuntsevo Cemetery.
