Imants Kokars (* 16. August 1921 in Gulbene; † 24. November 2011 in Riga) was a latvian pedagogue and conductor. He was 90 years old. He studied at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. He received 5 awards, including USSR State Prize, People's Artist of the USSR. He was buried at Forest Cemetery.
