Biography of Ingram Olkin

Ingram Olkin (* 23. July 1924 in Waterbury; † 28. April 2016 in Palo Alto) was an american mathematician. He was 91 years old. He studied at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He worked at Stanford University. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Elizabeth L. Scott Award. His cause of death was colorectal cancer.
