Biography of Ioannis Kakridis

Ioannis Kakridis (* 17. November 1901 in Athens; † 20. March 1992 in Athens) was a griechischer Altphilologe. He was 90 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, University of Vienna and Leipzig University. He worked at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Tübingen, Stockholm University, Lund University and Uppsala University. He was awarded the Herder Prize. He was buried at First Cemetery of Athens.
