Ira Herskowitz (* 14. July 1946 in Brooklyn; † 28. April 2003 in San Francisco) was an uS-amerikanischer Genetiker. He was 56 years old. His education included California Institute of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He worked at University of California, San Francisco and University of Oregon. He received 7 awards, including MacArthur Fellows Program, Thomas Hunt Morgan Medal. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
