Biography of Iriye Akira

Akira Iriye (* 20. October 1934 in Tokyo Prefecture; † 27. January 2026 in Philadelphia) was an american historian. He was 91 years old. His education included Harvard University, Haverford College and Seikei Senior High School. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Yoshino Sakuzo Prize and Order of the Sacred Treasure, 2nd Class.
