Biography of Irving Janis

Irving Janis (* 26. May 1918 in Buffalo; † 15. November 1990 in Santa Rosa) was an uS-amerikanischer Sozialpsychologe. He was 72 years old. His education included Columbia University, University of Chicago and Teachers College. He worked at University of California, Berkeley. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, AAAS Prize for Behavioral Science Research. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at at sea.
