
Control theorist and developer of the Quantitative Feedback Theory
Isaac Horowitz (* 15. December 1920 in Safed; † 1. January 2005) was a control theorist and developer of the Quantitative Feedback Theory. He was 84 years old. His education included New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Manitoba. He worked at Israel Defense Forces, New York University Tandon School of Engineering, HRL Laboratories, Hughes Aircraft Company, City University of New York, University of Colorado Boulder, Weizmann Institute of Science, University of California, Davis, Air Force Institute of Technology and University of the Witwatersrand. He was awarded the Rufus Oldenburger Medal.
