Biography of Ivan Calin

Ivan Calin (* 10. March 1935 in Plopi; † 2. January 2012 in Chișinău) was a moldauischer Politiker und ehemaliger Staats- und Ministerpräsident der Moldauischen SSR. He was 76 years old. His education included Higher Party School at the Central Committee of the CPSU and State Agrarian University of Moldova. He received 5 awards, including Order of Lenin, Order of the October Revolution. He was buried at Central cemetery of Chișinău.
