Ivan Kovalevsky (* 19. October 1899 in Konotop Raion; † 11. June 1994 in Rostov-on-Don) was a russian children's writer. He was 94 years old. His awards include Order of the Red Star, Jubilee Medal "In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin" and Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR.
