Ivanas Melničiukas (* 19. August 1937 in Klaipėda; † 26. June 2008 in Kyiv) was a paleogeographer. He was 70 years old. He studied at Chernivtsi University. He worked at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Institute of Geological Sciences. He was awarded the Medal "For the Development of Virgin Lands".
