Biography of Jacob Manandyan

Jacob Manandyan (* 10. November 1873 in Akhaltsikhe; † 4. February 1952 in Yerevan) was an armenischer Historiker und Sprachwissenschaftler. He was 78 years old. His education included First Tiflis Male Gymnasium, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Leipzig University, University of Strasbourg, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the St. Petersburg University and Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Imperial de Dorpat. He worked at Gevorkian Theological Seminary, First Tiflis Male Gymnasium, Թիֆլիսի 2-րդ գիմնազիա, Nersisian School, Faculty of Geography of Baku State University, Baku Commercial School and Yerevan State University. His awards include Order of the Red Banner of Labour and Deserved scientist of ArmSSR. He was buried at Komitas Pantheon.
