Biography of Jacqueline du Pré

Jacqueline du Pré (* 26. January 1945 in Oxford; † 19. October 1987 in London) was an englische Cellistin. She was 42 years old. Her education included Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Croydon High School. Her awards include Officer of the Order of the British Empire and honorary doctorate. Her cause of death was multiple sclerosis. She was buried at Golders Green Jewish Cemetery.
