Biography of Jakob Steiner

Jakob Steiner (* 18. March 1796 in Utzenstorf; † 1. April 1863 in Bern) was a schweizer Mathematiker. He was 67 years old. His education included Heidelberg University and University of Berlin. He worked at Frederick William University Berlin and University of Applied Sciences Berlin. He was awarded the honorary doctor of the University of Königsberg.
