Biography of Jakow Akim

Jakow Akim (* 15. December 1923 in Galich; † 21. October 2013 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian children’s poet. He was 89 years old. He received 4 awards, including Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
