Biography of Jakow Segel

Jakow Segel (* 10. March 1923 in Rostov-on-Don; † 19. May 1995 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Filmautor und -regisseur. He was 72 years old. He was married to Liliana Lasarewna Aljoschnikowa. He studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. He worked at Gorky Film Studio. He received 4 awards, including Order of the Patriotic War, 1st class, Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class. He was buried at Donskoe cemetery.
