James David Gewirtzman (* 31. January 1948 in Schenectady; † 7. April 2020 in New City) was an early victim of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was 72 years old. His education included The Milne School, University at Buffalo and Cornell University. He worked at New York State Office of Mental Health. His cause of death was COVID-19.
