Jan Gromnicki (* 14. September 1932 in Lviv; † 3. February 2026 in Warsaw) was a polish historian, archaelogist. He was 93 years old. His education included Jagiellonian University and IV Liceum i Gimnazjum im. Henryka Sienkiewicza w Krakowie. He received 7 awards, including Gold Cross of Merit, Medal of Merit for National Defence. He was buried at Protestant Reformed Cemetery in Warsaw.
