Jan Kostrzak (* 8. March 1946; † 29. April 2004 in Toruń) was a polish historian, diplomat. He was 58 years old. He studied at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He worked at Institute of History, Polish Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Cuiavian University. He was awarded the Medal „Zasłużony dla Diecezji Toruńskiej”. He was buried at Central Communal Cemetery in Toruń.
